Work Woes?

Its quite interesting how some women look at work. I mean not literally looking at it, but their perspectives. Most of the women I know enjoy their careers, want to build on it, make sacrifices in small amounts to reach there and often handle multiple things at a time, like kids, cooking, relationships.. you know.

There is, interestingly, another group who feel that those who need to work are the unfortunate ones. Of course need and want in this case are two different things. To me, for instance, its the same thing more or less cuz I work due to a combination of the above reasons. I need to and want to work. That's easy. But there are some who can't afford to not work. This doesn't have anything to do with what work they do, they just don't want to. And they consider the ones who get to sit at home, lucky. This is irrespective of whether the ones at home want to sit at home or not. That's a different story.

Hehe.. confusing post eh? And I wonder if I made a mistake by mentioning women in here. Is it the same for men. I mean, I do know a couple of men who wouldn't mind sitting at home and letting their jetsetting better  halves bring in the dough. I don't know if they are that open to cooking though.

Just a thought..
